This process will include an assessment of the individual after referral by a manager. A report and recommendations by an Occupational Health Adviser (OHA), which could include a rehabilitation programme or advice on referral to other agencies such as an Occupational Physician (OP).
Occupational Physician
When it is deemed appropriate to refer to an OP, contact details and arrangements can be set up. Support from an OP would be required where advice was being sought relating to a Company Pension Scheme or health issues in specific complex cases where a specialist medical opinion is required e.g. in relation to the Equality Act 2010 or difficult cases of long term sickness absence.
